COACHING

Coaching is a supportive process in which an individual, couple or group are taught creative and healthy ways to manage specific aspects of their life.  Coaching is not therapy and does not require a diagnosis, thus it is not medically focused at treating symptoms of emotional and mental concerns.  Coaching is a great process for those who seek to feel better equipped and empowered to navigate challenges.  For information on Grief Coaching, please refer to the "Grief" page on this website.

Parenting

Parenting is one of the greatest gifts in life.  Most parents devote themselves to raising their children, doing their best to create healthy, thriving individuals. Most parents will also agree that parenting is not easy.  Pamela's parenting coaching offers the opportunity to "back fill" what parents do not know and learn new tools to create confident, well adjusted children.  Pamela supports parents in recognizing their strengths as leaders in their families, while creating insight around areas for growth and change.

Couples

Couples Coaching is for couples who are emotionally invested in their relationship and need support building a stronger foundation.   Coaching is different from marital counseling in that it is not clinical or focused on diagnoses and symptoms. Couples Coaching is a forward-thinking process that is short term and goal oriented.  It serves as a filter for healthy and productive communication. The Coach can help couples communicate in new ways so their needs can be met in the relationship. Couples Coaching is beneficial for any relationship including  Pre-Marital and Marital.

Co-Parenting

Co-parenting occurs when parents live in separate homes and share responsibility for parenting their children.  The Co-Parenting Coach is a professional who is trained in working with children and families of divorce and has training in conflict resolution.   The Co-parenting Coach works with both parents from a neutral perspective that promotes healthy communication and cooperation. With the assistance of the coach, co-parents develop a parenting plan that addresses all aspects of day-to-day parenting, as well as how the children will spend time between their homes.  Significant others may be included in the process as needed.

Grandparents/Caregiver

Grandparents and extended family members can be wonderful caregivers for children whose parents cannot take care of them.  Accepting this role preserves the family unit and allows children to maintain a sense of connection and security. The Coach supports grandparents and caregivers by helping them navigate sharing the children’s time with other family members and work together to help children adjust.
